Lion Encounter


Duration: 3 hour(s) - Location: Thorntree Boma Mosi O Tunya National Park

No leashes, no collars, just a natural African wildlife adventure operating in the Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park from Thorntree Lodge, 10 minutes from Livingstone. Guests will have the unique experience of walking alongside and interacting with the lions for approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.

After a 10 minute drive from Livingstone town to Thorntree Lodge, guests are given a brief introduction about the programme. This is followed by the encounter with the lions for about one hour.



Participant guidelines

Guests are requested to carry with them the voucher, sunscreen, insect repellent, sunglasses, cap or head wear, neutral coloured clothing, trousers or jeans, comfortable walking shoes.

DVDs of the experience and merchandising are for sale so don't forget to bring some cash.
