The village day trip makes the clients to interact with the Tokaleya people of Musokotwane so as to know their rich culture, their way of life and have a traditional experience of a real African village. Clients will also discover the traditional foods that these people have depended on since their existence, learn how to cook them and even have an African full lunch in the village whilst exchanging African stories.

The itinerary of this trip is as follows:
Guests first visit Maramba Market for an African shopping experience. From there, they head to Musokotwane village where they will be welcomed by traditional dancers. They will be served the traditional Chibwantu drink and some African nuts.
Guests then visit the palace and go on a village tour observing local households, kraals, the dam, village gardens, fields and the Musokotwane Village Diary Company support site. This is a village economic empowerment initiative that the Company supports through this tour. Part of the fund paid for this tour are then paid to the Village Committee Trust during this visit and the committee will explain the nature of the project.
After this, then it will be time to now go and have the African meals cooking lessons. The clients help to cook the foods that were bought at the African market. After the cooking we shall have the meals as our African lunch in the Village under the Mango trees.
After the meal, guests will be entertained once again by the culture dancers but this time, clients will be taught how to dance some of the dances and we shall together dance the African way in the village.
After the dances, we will then have a 6km drive further to Chimbokoma Fountain in Sinde village just to have scenery pictures and be refreshed by the waters of this fountain. Then we will come back to Musokotwane Palace to bid farewell the African way. Then we will head back to Livingstone and drop clients at their hotel at about 5 PM.
