Nicki and Dalene Rossouw
The lodge is owned by Nicky Rossouw, a Namibian who has lived in Zambia for the last 10 years.
Nicky is very much involved with the local community and enjoys sharing his expertise in tiger fishing with his guests.
The main area of focus is improving the standard of living of the local community and improving their farming methods
The lodge employs local people from the surrounding villages. The lodge grows its own vegetables and the local people are allowed to sell crafts at the lodge. Building materials, such as stone, wood and grass, are sourced from within the area. Bricks are moulded and baked in ovens on site.
The lodge also works with a mission called Lusu, which enables client to make donations for the betterment of the local people.
