The Bushfront

The chalets blend in nicely with the African woodland that surrounds them. Birdlife is prolific here and with the national park right next door, one can also hear and smell the African bush, including the hippos and elephants.

The rooms have an outside shower, which cascades out of a rock formation.

Adjacent to the dining and bar areas is the swimming pool. The setting is ideal for families; parents can keep an eye on the children in the pool while they dine or drink at the bar.

There is also a small camp site at the lodge that can accommodate about 20 people.

The lodge is approximately 4 km from Victoria Falls and Livingstone town and 2 km from the Falls Park Shopping Centre.

The Bushfront is a starting point for a multitude of activities, booking for which can be made at the lodge.

Late check-outs are possible, subject to availability of rooms.

Children are more than welcome at The Bushfront. Although there is no separate children's rate, the family room is available at a reduced rate - the charges are not per person but per room. However, a child sharing a twin room with one parent pays the adult rate.

The cancellation policy is as follows:

- 25% deposit is required to confirm a booking

- cancellations made more than 30 days before arrival result in loss of deposit

- cancellations within 30 days of arrival are charged 25% cancellation fee

-  cancellations within seven days of arrival are charged 50% cancellation fee

- cancellations within 24 hours (or no-shows) of arrival are charged 100% cancellation fee.

The balance of the booking fee is payable 30 days before arrival.
