Thorntree River Lodge

Thorntree River Lodge offers its guests a unique and personal African experience all year round. Each accommodation unit has its own ensuite facilities. There is a swimming pool with a water level bar and a thatched lapa in which guests can relax during the day.

Included in the rates are all the meals and one activity per night spent at the lodge - a river cruise, game drive or a tour to Victoria Falls. The rates do not include drinks or the park fees of US$ 10 per day, which has to be paid directly to the lodge.

Adventure lovers will also be able to experience some of the activities offered around the Falls and the Zambezi River are Canoeing,  white water rafting, river boarding, tandem kayaking and bungee jumping as well as sightseeing flights over the Falls by helicopter, fixed-wing aircraft or micro light. All activities can either be pre-booked or arranged.

Late check out policy:

Late check-outs are possible, subject to availability of rooms.

Policy on children staying with parents:

Thorntree River Lodge is family-friendly and caters to all age groups. However, guests with children under 12 years are accommodated on request only.

Cancellation Policy:

The cancellation policy is as follows:

- 25% deposit is required to confirm a booking

- cancellations made more than 30 days before arrival result in loss of deposit

- cancellations within 30 days of arrival are charged 25% cancellation fee

-  cancellations within seven days of arrival are charged 50% cancellation fee

- cancellations within 24 hours (or no-shows) of arrival are charged 100% cancellation fee.

Other disclosures:

A US$ 10 park fees is not included in the room rate and will be charged directly.
