We were always aware that safety was foremost. Thank you.

JT and Matthew were excellent guides. They gave us freedom to explore but clearly were focused on our safety, especially in hippo territory. The wind was rough and not an easy paddle by any means but thoroughly enjoyable and would gladly go again with Makota Quest.
This hike was very enjoyable and full of information about the area where we walked. The two guides were excellent in terms of their knowledge, safety and kindness.. We did see 12 Rhinos and were able to get as close as we dreamed of doing.
I was impressed with our guide and all the safety and navigation. Excelent time and a highlight of our time in Zambia. The team was particularly good when we flipped on a class 5 rapid and we all got separated. Great experience
The Royal Livingstone Express offers the discerning guests the ultimate fine dining experience going back in time to the age of steam train travel. Bushtracks Africa in conjunction with Sun International are now able to
I and my group of 10 people thoroughly enjoyed the Victoria Falls tour experience. The guide was knowledgeable and very concerned with out safety. One concern was that we did not realize we had to reserve the Devil's Pool so long in advance and so we missed that visit which would have made our trip just that much more memorable.
I know that the view is fantastic, and the breakfast was amazing, but we got no more than 10 minutes in the pool as a group of 5, and a single lady in our group got no more than 5 minutes. We were whistled at to come to breakfast and staff were unfriendly (apart from the lady who prepared the breakfast, who was great!). I hate saying this, as in our two weeks in Zambia we found people to be amazingly friendly and warm, and have left wanting very much to return as much because of the people as for the beauty of the country. I know that this tour is heavily in demand, but we were disappointed when we compared the price with the amount of time given and the unfriendly attitude of the staff. It definitely feels like a conveyor belt.
The Day Trip was very good. We very much enjoyed the boat tour and lunch at the Chobe Safari Lodge. We were a bit disappointed that we did not see more wildlife during the on-land drive, but we did manage to see elephants at a distance and giraffes up close. Our guide, Six, was knowledgeable but was rude to one of our group when she mistakenly dropped her cell phone from the van and, at first, told her she could not retrieve it. Although he had warned us that anything that was dropped from the van might get lost in the sand or leaves, we did not realize he would refuse to stop. I was able to convince Six that he should retrieve this item for our team mate but felt he was not very understanding about this mistake.
Possibly the best "sundownwer" we have ever had - numerous wildlife sightings on the banks and in the river, followed by a beautiful clear sunset. Service onboard was excellent, as usual. .What had previously been small nibbles with drinks had become something far more substantial, so braai I had booked at the Boma at the Avani was totally unnecessary - I should have booked braai the night before and done the a-la-carte.on the night of the sundowner - feel sure some of the clients may have missed dinner all together given the choice, because of the quantity of food on the sundowner..
Everything perfect except not many animal sightings, but the tranquility, setting, and beautiful nature of Africa came through loud and clear. Well worth the effort and expense, quality of snacks out of this world. :)
This is seriously overpriced for what you get, especially when I compare it with other experiences across the world. We were early, but then also had to wait for 2 passengers who were late by about 15 minutes and who then demanded a private flight, while we stood and waited. Nobody kept us informed, until I went to ask. We (4 in our party) eventually took off 45 minutes after our booking time, which we had chosen so that we could see the spray of the Falls, but which had dissipated by the time we flew over the Falls. Our flight time was supposed to be between 25 and 30 minutes, ours was about 23 minutes, which left me feeling short changed and disappointed for what we paid for. I also feel there could be better communication regarding seating on the helicopter. I realise weight distribution is important, but I wanted a front seat for photographs and while boarding, the guide was trying to arrange this and then trying to disagree about where we should sit and who was heavier, my son or I? This needs more clarification. It may also be helpful if the pilot was a bit more friendly!!! Having said all that, we really enjoyed the flight through the gorge, the pilot was excellent in flying and his information was good, but clinical. The views were amazing. We left having enjoyed the flight, but with mixed feelings about the whole experience. It left a bad taste in the mouth!
