We were always aware that safety was foremost. Thank you.

JT and Matthew were excellent guides. They gave us freedom to explore but clearly were focused on our safety, especially in hippo territory. The wind was rough and not an easy paddle by any means but thoroughly enjoyable and would gladly go again with Makota Quest.
I was impressed with our guide and all the safety and navigation. Excelent time and a highlight of our time in Zambia. The team was particularly good when we flipped on a class 5 rapid and we all got separated. Great experience
Friendly guides, took good care of everything.Only downside was the guy filming videos, who is unrelated to the company. But for $65 I expected a better video than what he gave us.Otherwise The experience and everything was absolutlet great.
I and my group of 10 people thoroughly enjoyed the Victoria Falls tour experience. The guide was knowledgeable and very concerned with out safety. One concern was that we did not realize we had to reserve the Devil's Pool so long in advance and so we missed that visit which would have made our trip just that much more memorable.
The Royal Livingstone Express offers the discerning guests the ultimate fine dining experience going back in time to the age of steam train travel. Bushtracks Africa in conjunction with Sun International are now able to
Regrettably, although I had made it clear that one of our party was vegan, this information did not appear to have been made available to the train catering staff. They did their best under the circumstances but it is not acceptable for the tour operator to overlook such a requirement. It also places their staff in a difficult position.
Possibly the best "sundownwer" we have ever had - numerous wildlife sightings on the banks and in the river, followed by a beautiful clear sunset. Service onboard was excellent, as usual. .What had previously been small nibbles with drinks had become something far more substantial, so braai I had booked at the Boma at the Avani was totally unnecessary - I should have booked braai the night before and done the a-la-carte.on the night of the sundowner - feel sure some of the clients may have missed dinner all together given the choice, because of the quantity of food on the sundowner..
We booked United Air Charter for 30 min helicopter flight. The activity was overbooked which caused a delay of over 1 hour from the scheduled start. I am normally understanding, but we were in Livingstone for only 3 days and wasting 1 hour waiting was not something I wanted to do. On top of that, the staff could not even offer any free beverages as compensation for waiting because of their mistake.
Paying $360 for a 30 min helicopter ride you expect some care and consideraction, and not to be treated like a minibus passenger.
The company specialises in leisure activity focused on the Zambezi River - daytime river cruises, sunset cruise, fishing trips (half and full day), plus longer trips using the houseboat on the Upper Zambezi.
my second time on their cruise. both times the food was so dried out that you get indigestion. this time around there was music that had no place with nature playing. I am having doubts of using this again but mainly due to the poor food for the price.
