Chobe National Park is one of the best parks in Africa and is only an hour's drive from Livingstone making for the perfect day trip!
Chobe National Park is Botswana's next well-known preservation region. It is an extensive area from the border at the Chobe River to the dry Savute Channel and beyond to the borders of the Moremi Wildlife Reserve.
The Park is best known for its concentrations of elephant - some 120,000 is all - along with a good number of buffalo, antelope and predators. Birding is also excellent, with many migrants visiting from November to March.
